Cecile Triggle
Vice Principal, Elementary School & Admissions Director
A native French-Canadian from Edmonton, Alberta, Cecile
moved to Newfoundland where she nursed in I.C.U. and Recovery
Room before changing careers to become a French-Immersion
teacher. She did her practicum at the High School level and
has taught Kindergarten and Grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 in other
schools. Cecile has taught Grades 2, 3 and 4 at CFIS
as well as being part-time early literacy/resource teacher;
she has been with CFIS for 13 years. Like many teachers who
have been at CFIS for many years, she has been afforded many
professional development opportunities and thus has quite
a resume of workshops attended primarily in language learning. Cecile has three children (all products of French Immersion education through to High School). Cecile enjoys traveling, attending the theater and going for long walks. |
