MANDARIN Language Instructor (Children's Classes)

Job Description

Calgary French & International School LEAD Language Program is currently seeking a MANDARIN INSTRUCTOR to teach credit-free MANDARIN classes to a group of children. Our classes generally take place on Saturday mornings at our brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Cougar Ridge in SW Calgary. Besides teaching, the duties also include a faculty meeting per session, providing a course outline, keeping track of attendance and administering an evaluation questionnaire to the students/parents.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should:

• have native or native-like fluency in Mandarin
• have a B.Ed. or equivalent
• have at least 3 years experience in teaching Mandarin to children in a classroom environment
• have an excellent knowledge of grammar (Mandarin and English) and of chinese cultures
• be highly-motivated, patient, enthusiastic and approachable
• be used to working with children

Job Description

Calgary French & International School LEAD Language Program is currently looking for a FRENCH INSTRUCTOR to teach credit-free French classes to a group of adults. Our classes generally take place on weekday evenings or on Saturday mornings at our brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Cougar Ridge in SW Calgary. Besides teaching a 30-hour course, the duties also include a faculty meeting per session, providing a course outline based on a textbook, keeping track of attendance and administering an evaluation questionnaire to the students.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should:

• have native or native-like fluency in French
• have a B.Ed. or equivalent
• have at least 3 years experience in teaching French to adults
• have an excellent knowledge of grammar (French and English) and of francophone cultures
