CFIS as a registered charitable organization is governed by a Board
of Directors elected from it's membership. There are working committees within each CFIS Board. The Annual General Meeting of the CFIS boards is held each year in late November. New members are officially named to the boards for 1 or 2 year terms at the Annual General Meeting. Board policies are available
for review upon request.

families and teachers qualified in language education to ensure
accessibility to the School's programs and to recognize achievement.
It also undertakes some key fundraising initiatives. This board

MISSION: To advance the develpment of language learning by supporting the delivery of exceptional multi-language progams for elementary, junior and senior high students who will ultimately contribute to Calgary and Canada's competitive advantage.
VISION: To provide for the advancement and development of language learning through the acquisition and distribution of funds to support multi-language programs for students of all ages.
