Ground Breaking Ceremony

I’m sure I speak on behalf of all the students
here today, when I say we are very excited to celebrate a ‘new
beginning’ for The Calgary French School. Each of us has chosen
a stone from our current Lakeview School site. These stones represent
the foundation on which our new school will be built. This foundation
is the love of learning and the respect for one another. We will
place our stones one by one in the ground prepared by the Premier.
This simple act symbolizes “bringing the best of CFS, past
and present, to our new site as the foundation for our future”.
Thank you to all who have made this vision a reality.
Je suis sur que je représente tous les
étudiants et étudiantes ici aujourd’hui quand
je vous dit que nous sommes très excité de célébrer
un nouveau début pour l’Ecole Française de Calgary.
Chacun parmi nous ont choisit un caillou (une pierre) de notre site
présent à Lakeview. Ces cailloux (pierres) représente
la fondation de notre nouvelle école. Cette fondation dérive
de notre passion pour l’apprentissage et notre respect un
pour l’autre. Nous allons placer chaque caillou (pierre) dans
le site préparé par notre premier ministre, Monsieur
Klein. Ce la signifie que nous essayons d’apporter ce qu’il
y a de mieux du présent et le passé de l’Ecole
Française de Calgary pour la fondation de notre futur a ce
site. Merci a tous ceux qui ont crée cette réalité.
