YOUR INPUT IS REQUESTED

Since May 2006, a feature addition to our school culture is the Annual School Survey. CFIS parents are encouraged to take the time to respond to the survey questions. Your participation is very important to us in determining areas of improvement and future programming goals for CFIS. Your input is valued and is an integral component to our academic as well as overall strategic planning. Your participation in this survey will be completely confidential as we are using a third party to compile the results. We have a very active CFIS community and have in past years of conducting the Survey, attained very high participation rates. Merci, we would like this trend to continue!

The survey should act as a catalyst for all parents to reflect on this past academic year. Moreover, it should encourage a dialogue between you and your son or daughter focusing on how this year is and has been evolving for them in their respective grade.

Your sincere feedback is requested. While the survey acts as a means of communicating areas of improvement, please remember it can also communicate to us many aspects of the Calgary French & International School education that are going well.

The CFIS Survey Challenge 2008

The more families that respond to our school survey, the better the survey becomes as an instrument for accurate feedback.As CFIS families, your participation is requested. Our goal is to have a 70% survey completion rate of all families in the School. Therefore, if we receive a 70% return rate, an additional journeé de vesti-choix will be given to the students before the end of the year. We have condensed the survey so as to make it an efficient exercise for you to respond to while maintaining its effectiveness in providing important feedback. This challenge will be communicated to all students so that they will “nag” (I mean remind you), to complete the survey.

We ask that you fill out only one survey per family. Remember to print off the certificate of completion once you have completed the survey. Send it with your child to the School to be returned to their homeroom teacher (Pre-school to Grade 6) or to Mme. Gariepy (for Junior High School)  (only one certificate per family is required).
