Ongoing communication is critical to the success of our school. We have numerous ways for you to stay up-to-date with current events and happenings at CFIS. We also want to provide you with a vehicle to send CFIS feedback on a regular basis, not just at survey time. We will soon implement a feedback/e-mail system to accommodate this.
Communiqué, the main CFIS School Newsletter, is published in-house
10 times per year. To view the current issue, select it from the menu on left side of this page.
Junior Remarque is a newsletter published by the Junior High School students 3-4 times per year.
CFIS has established Parents as Partners information evenings. These evenings will cover a variety of topics that are of interest to CFIS families. If you have an interest in a specific topic, please contact us.
For information on sessions planned for this year, please contact us.
Our annual online Parent's Survey is an important tool for the School to collect immediate information about as well as feedback and opinions from CFIS families critical in designing and renewing school programs, facilities and services. In the past, with the paper format, we were only able to survey our families every three years, but using the electronic format, we are able to solicit your feedback and input annually for less cost.
The results from the annual survey are available for viewing at the CFIS main office.
We keep our website current with critical information about the school, its programs and current events. This is a key tool for prospective and existing CFIS families. Feel free to let us know if you would like to see additional information on the website in the future.
This is you and your child’s resource guide to getting acquainted
with CFIS and our policies and practices. You can pick a copy up
at CFIS’s office once your child has been successfully registered. An online version of the Student Parent Handbook will be available
in the future. This handbook will outline CFIS in its:
- Belief and Structures
- Educational Programs
- Rules, Policies, Sanctions
- Fees, Registration and Enrolment
- Services
- Parental Involvement
