Parents : Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for Volunteers. Your support enhances the school community and is felt and appreciated by students, staff and parents. Volunteer opportunities can range from one day commitments to on going help, and are designed to work with your schedule and ability to commit your time.

Volunteering Within CFIS		Tuition Credit Program
There are many opportunities to volunteer at the school, and creative ways to contribute your talents, time and interests! A variety of volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. The CFIS Volunteer and Program Coordinator organizes volunteers for school wide events, including the Halloween Dance, Family Fair, Uniform Sales, and more. Additionally, Class Reps organize volunteers for events specific to your child’s class — for field trips, special snacks, gala basket donations, gifts, etc. To find out more, click below. Volunteer Opportunities		We continue to use the very successful Tuition Credit Program (started in the 2007/08). This program fosters a strong volunteer culture and creates administrative efficiencies, while maintaining strong social opportunities for the school community. The Tuition Credit Program offers positions at CFIS that have pre-assigned individual dollar values, based on the responsibilities and approximate hours worked.
