Parents : Volunteer Opportunities

How Can I Volunteer Within CFIS?

There are many opportunities to volunteer at the school, and creative ways to contribute your talents, time and interests! There are two main points of contact — you may contact either or both for more information on how you can help out.

  1. The Volunteer and Program Coordinator organizes volunteers for school wide events. Some of these positions are outlined below, but a variety of other opportunities can come up throughout the year. Questionnaires are sent out annually to parents to confirm interest in each area.

  2. The Class Rep helps organize volunteers for events specific to your child’s class — for field trips, special snacks, gala basket donations, gifts, etc. There is one Rep per class for Preschool, Kindergarten and Grades 1 through 6.

Please note:  All CFIS volunteers require a Police Security Check before volunteering. Applications are available at the CFIS Main Office.

Here is information about some of main volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. Please click on the title for more details about that item.
