Watch as the SAIT Heritage Hall and Heart Atrium are transformed into the STREETS OF PARIS. Join our emcee Vickie Chase (CFCN) for an evening promises fun, food, entertainment, silent and live auctions.

A French market, roaming street entertainers, made-to-order crêpes amidst the Eiffel Tower and Paris streetscapes come together for a magical evening. Come escape to Paris with us!

Menu

6:00 pm - You arrive, check in and are ready to take it all in:

Champagne - enjoy a glass of bubbly when you arrive! Registration for the evening and coat check have never been so delightful!

Assorted canapes with antipasto - Delicate and delicious savory canapes served with a selection of imported olives, peppers and pickled vegetables

Bruschetta - Hand chopped ripe tomatoes tossed with onions, fresh herbs and olive oil served with baguette and olive blessed crustini

International cheese station - A superlative selection of imported and Canadian cheeses served with fresh fruit and a variety of table crackers... paired with a suggestion of available Port wines

7:30 pm - Bidding on auction items has your appetite ready for the main course:

Quiche - Both traditional and unique blending of flavours combine in this selection of quiche from our bakery. Cured ham, garden vegetables and smoked salmon quiche, both mini and by the slice.

Carved Alberta Roast Beef - Hand carved to order, slow roasted carved beef served with an assortment of condiments and crusty olive buns

Tapas - A medley of seasoned seafood and butterflied chicken served hot with crusty baguette

Paella - Slow cooked over an open flame, our Paella blends the unique flavours of Spain with a hearty Basmati rice

Veggie Sides- Grilled Asparagus, Bitter Greens with goat cheese, Roasted Vegetables

9:00 pm - The entertainment and bidding is getting exciting... time to load up on the sweets:

Chocolate fountain - Fresh fruit, both expected and exotic, and a warm chocolate fountain to dress them with...

Crêpes - Light and airy French crepes flambeed with choice of bananas or brandy. Also ready to meet up with the chocolate fountain

Assorted pastries - Chocolate, nut, French cream and fruit dainties to finish off the evening's dining experience

The Peter Hurni Ensemble – This trio will take you into the late night with their sounds of “cocktail” jazz, easy listening tunes with a light touch of Latin (10:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.).
