Special Events : Fall Book Fair

Plan to participate in the upcoming

CFIS 2008 Scholastic Book Fair
November 13 & 14 - Preview
November 17, 18 & 19 Sale Days

Fall Book FairSerious Fun That's All About Books!

Students, parents and teachers – get ready for three days of entertaining and thought-provoking fun! The CFIS Scholastic Book Fair will offer an amazing array of French, English and Spanish books (as well as lots of other cool stuff) for sale, Monday through Wednesday, November 17 through 19, in classroom 119 (to the left of the main school foyer).  Our theme this year is Pyramid of Books.

  • Thursday, November 13: Families invited during Open House

  • Friday, November 14:
       - Elementary, Kindergarten & Pre-school classes can preview the Book Fair
with their teacher during scheduled times.
       - Junior and Senior High students are invited during their lunch hour from 12:45 – 1:30 p.m.

  • Monday, November 17:         Open 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • Tuesday, November 18:        Open 3:00 pm – 8:15 pm, during Parent/Teacher conferences
  • Wednesday, November 19:  Open 3:00 pm – 8:15 pm, during Parent/Teacher conferences

Mark these dates on your calendar now and make a plan to multi-task. After the interview, what better way to celebrate than by treating your hard-working son or daughter to a book (or books) of their choice? You can also make serious headway on your holiday shopping list, as well as participate in a Classroom Wish List by purchasing books for CFIS classrooms that teachers have already pre-selected (a gift that will continue giving while enhancing the educational experience at CFIS).

Best of all, every book that is purchased will contribute to the long-term financial success of our school as well as enhance our library.
