STREET DRUG AWARENESS
Thursday, APRIL 19, 2007
Starts at 7:00 pm
We are very pleased to welcome back to our school, retired Detective Steve Walton, for a highly informative session on street drug awareness.
Mr. Walton is a 25 years veteran of law enforcement. For the last 10 years of his career he was assigned to a drug unit.
In that capacity he supervised an undercover street team and managed more than 120 undercover drug operations and 780 undercover drug transactions.
Mr. Walton has attended over 300 marijuana operations and has been qualified in the criminal justice system as an expert with respect to street drug related matters. His formal and informal education regarding street drug has provided him with considerable expertise in the areas of street jargon, consumption practices, the physiology of street drugs, the effects of use, street pricing and patterns of abuse.
He delivers an engaging and interactive session that is bound to make you realize just how much you need to know and just how little you really do.
This session is geared toward all parents regardless of the age of their child/children. This presentation is intended for parents.
Please confirm your attendance by April 18th, by phone (240.1500) or email (ctolomio@cfis.com) to enable us to set up the gymnasium appropriately.
