Donate to the Library

The library continues to expand its collection of resources including French and Spanish books, CDs, DVDs & Videos to serve Preschool through Senior High school levels.

Celebrate a special occasion with a donation to the library. A book, handpicked by our librarian, will be personalized with a ‘name plate’ along with a tax receipt for donations over $25.00. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate a loved ones birthday or Christmas.

Elementary / Junior High Library

The Library currently has thousands of titles for students to choose from with more than half of the collection in French.

Located on the second floor of the school, our library is geared toward providing a multitude of multimedia ranging from books, compact disks, videos, DVDs, and tapes in French, Spanish and English. Our collection starts at the pre-school level and goes all the way up to Junior High. All levels of reading have both French and English titles. With a limited selection of Spanish titles, as our Spanish language program develops our collection of books and resources will increase.

Along with a complete resource area and tables for group work, the library allows for a relaxed atmosphere for students to concentrate on research and homework projects. An elevated platform is also available as a reading corner for younger students. The area is lit by natural light entering from the windows that overlook an exceptional westward view.

The library also comes complete with Teachers materials with three different sections of the Library reserved for teacher and staff use including: Professional Development, Teachers Resource materials, and Curriculum Guides.

These areas of the Library have proven to be an inspiration and help to all staff members when planning and teaching their classes.

Senior High Library
High-school level materials are being acquired on an ongoing basis to stock our second library for the implementation of the CFIS high-school program.
