Since its inception in December 2006, the Grocery Card Program has raised close to $30,000. These funds have contributed to the purchase of the CFIS television network, recently installed at the school.
CFIS is pleased to continue to offer you the opportunity to purchase Grocery Cards to generate useful dollars for your children’s programs, while at the same time attempting to reduce fundraising fatigue. Funds raised from this program will be spent on additional computers, musical instruments, gym equipment, bursaries and awards at Calgary French & International School.
You can now support the school by ordering gift cards to purchase groceries and gas (where available) at several leading grocery stores. Gift cards are available for and valid at the following stores:
- Safeway - all Gas Bars and stores in Canada and USA (may not be used in Safeway Liquor Stores)
- Calgary Co-Op - stores in Calgary, Airdrie and Strathmore; includes Gas Bars & Travel (no Liquor)
- Sobeys & IGA - all stores in B.C, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba
With every order you place, CFIS receives between 2-10% back in cash to be used for programs here at the school. The more we buy, the greater the return.
- You pay face value for the cards and you receive the same value at the time of purchase.
- Any card balance remains on the card – you use it until the balance is zero.
- As the cards are treated as cash, you will be required to sign for your cards at pick-up or you may designate another person to pick-up the cards for you by writing their name on your order form.
Thank-you in advance for supporting CFIS.
