The Building our Vision Campaign was a success. This $18.8
million capital project for a new facility was completed in three
phases.
Phase 1 Elementary/Junior High - September 2003 - Calgary
French & International School moved into its new facility
($12 million)
Phase 1B Band and Drama Room and Stage additions - August
2004 ($450,000 addition)
Phase 2 High School - June 2005 - Completed the building
expansion with the High School wing as CFIS continues to grow
to Grade 12. CFIS High School will be offered as of 2007/08. Students
will graduate with a minimum of three languages – English,
their immersion language (French or Spanish) and an extensive
foundation in at least one other language. ($6.3 million)
