The CFIS yearbook is published annually. It consists of two editions: Elementary hard-covered edition covers Preschool through Grade 6 and a soft-covered edition for Junior/Senior High. The yearbook is created by dedicated CFIS students and parent volunteers.

Students from Grade 6 may join the club as either a designer or a photographer. The designers work on page layouts and design elements – fonts, colours, and page ideas. The photographers capture the student life at CFIS. If you see someone with a camera, remember to smile!

Elementary Yearbook Cover Contest

Congratulations to all students who submitted their artwork for the 2007/08 Yearbook cover contest. Winners for the 2008 contest are:

Your Yearbook Needs You
(or at least your pictures!)

Got Pictures? To ensure a speedy delivery of the yearbook in September, all photos must be received by the Yearbook Committee by end of school year in June. That said, please don't wait until then to capture the pictures. 6 to 10 good photos for each class are needed as well as event and candid photos for our theme pages. Once you take them, send them to us so you don't forget! Anyone can also upload photos, so even if you only have a couple please share them with us.

Submit Photos. We can only accept digital photos. There are two ways you can submit photos to us. 

1. If you have a few photos you would like us to consider, upload them directly to our yearbook website (see link in left column). Follow the instructions to ensure we get all the required information and that your photo gets used in the right class.
2. If you have many photos of your class, please burn them onto a CD and drop it off at the CFIS Main Office - attn. Yearbook Committee. Be sure to include your class name, your name and phone number in case we need to reach you. If you can, please identify the students in the photo.

We need and are now accepting the following photos:

• Halloween, Cirque des Sorcieres Party, class parties, & candids
• Christmas – class, concert and candids
• Class candids
• Any field trips
• Winter events – ski days, skating days

If you don’t have very many pictures of your class, you still have time! Please remember to always have someone on a field trip take photos or if your student is older – get them to take pictures.
