Preparing Graduates for the World 

In Senior High within our full French immersion setting, each student takes clearly articulated steps toward their academic future and professional career. All secondary subjects are taught in our French-language immersion environment, and students function fully in French. The pedagogical approaches, intensity and exposure to French, and time in the program to graduation year leads students to be fluent and proficient in French. CFIS graduates have impressive abilities in all three languages, as demonstrated by their internationally-recognized certifications. To attend Junior or Senior High at CFIS, students must be currently attending a French immersion or francophone school, or be native French-language speakers.

Students in Senior High at CFIS (Grades 10-12):

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

The IB Diploma Programme was introduced to CFIS students in grades 11 and 12 in 2019. Students can choose to enrol in the full IB Diploma programme or to enrol in classes that specifically interest them.
