Absolutely! CFIS has pathways for students at many stages:

Early Childhood - It’s completely normal for children to start without any French. They are gently immersed through play, songs, and daily routines, quickly gaining confidence in the language.

Primary School - Students can join our Embark transitional French immersion pathway (Grades 1–4), designed specifically for learners new to French.

Middle School (Grade 7) - Students with no prior French can join through Embark Late French Immersion, where small-group instruction and tailored support help them become bilingual while fully engaging in the IB curriculum.

CFIS ensures students with existing French skills continue to develop fluency:

Early Childhood (19 months–Kindergarten)
Children who already have some French are supported through rich language experiences, songs, stories, and play-based activities that extend their vocabulary and confidence in both French and English.

Primary School (Grades 1–5)
Students build on their language foundation through our immersion program, with individualized support to challenge and extend their learning.

Middle School (Grade 7)
Fluent students continue to deepen their language skills in academic and social contexts, integrating fully with peers while engaging in the IB curriculum.

Yes! Children and family members are welcome to attend the Open Day.
