A Great Day on the Green

On September 15, CFIS hosted our inaugural Fairways for the Future Golf Tournament at Valley Ridge Golf Club.

Despite the rainy weather, it was an incredible day of golf and community-building, all in support of our future. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, players and supporters, we are thrilled to have raised over $35,000 toward the CFIS Expansion.

These funds will support the addition of eight new classrooms and our new Movement & Performing Arts Centre, creating more space and opportunities for our growing school.

A special thank you to our Parent Volunteer Committee: Amy Bellomo, Andra Davies, Kathleen Vanin, Natalie Butler and Vanessa Pabbies for the many hours of work that went into organizing and making the tournament a great success! Their dedication is a wonderful example of the community spirit that makes CFIS so special.

We are also grateful to our sponsors for believing in our vision and supporting the future of CFIS, and to our CFIS student golf team, Ethan, Kaz, Tommy and Wyatt, who proudly represented our school during the Beat the CFIS Player challenge.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this first-time event come to life. See you on the green next September!
