At CFIS, we certainly know how to celebrate! Throughout the month of June, our vibrant community came together to mark the end of the school year with joy, recognition, and shared pride. While this is just a glimpse of the many events held across all divisions, it’s clear that CFIS students, staff, and families deeply value celebrating achievement and growth together.
Highlights included:
- The Grade 5 Celebration, honoring students as they graduate to Middle School
- The Middle School Awards Assembly and the High School Gala des Méritas, both recognizing outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and meaningful community contributions
- The Musical Awards, celebrating artistic excellence and dedication

Across these gatherings, excellence was celebrated in many forms — from Honor Roll and Honor Roll with Distinction, IB Learner and UNESCO awards, to the Middle and High School Multilingual Awards, Leadership and Global Citizenship recognitions, as well as MVP and All-Star awards in athletics and music. Special awards such as the Odin Award at Middle School, and Viking’s Leader and King Constantine awards at High School, also highlighted exceptional contributions and commitment.

In addition to the awards, these events were filled with meaningful community-building moments — from lively BBQs and joyful dances to student-led contributions that added heart and significance to each celebration. Whether it was our confident student emcees guiding the programs, our Grade 2 students respectfully delivering the land acknowledgment in French, or our talented band members providing a beautiful musical backdrop, these contributions reflected the spirit and pride of our CFIS community.

Together, these celebrations were a testament to the dedication of our students, the support of our staff and families, and the strong sense of connection that defines our school. We are incredibly proud of all that was accomplished this year — and grateful for the community that makes CFIS such a special place to learn and grow.
