The end of the school year brought our community together to celebrate the incredible dedication, growth, and talents of our Middle and Senior School students. Through multiple ceremonies, we recognized not only high achievements but also the core values that make the CFIS community so vibrant.
The celebrations kicked off with the Athletics Rally, where our student-athletes were honoured for their teamwork, sportsmanship, and outstanding season.
The applause continued at the second annual CFIS Musical Awards Ceremony. Cast, crew, choir, stage band, and set designers gathered with their families for a well-deserved evening of play, prizes, and pizza. It was a wonderful opportunity to honor the incredible collaboration, countless hours of rehearsal, and creative energy that brought our school production of Chicago: Teen Edition to life this year.
Next, the prestigious Gala des Méritas honoured Senior School students (from Grades 9 to 11) who have made meaningful contributions within our classrooms and the broader community. By exemplifying perseverance, compassion, and a genuine love of learning, these individuals truly embody what it means to be an engaged learner and an active leader. We are deeply proud of the resilience and spirit our Senior School students have shown throughout the year.
The celebrations concluded with our Middle School Awards ceremony. Students from Grades 6 to 8 were recognized for their commitment and accomplishments across multiple categories, including Academics, Music, Global Citizenship, and Whole Student awards. Each certificate presented highlighted our students' drive to step outside their comfort zones, support one another, and pursue their passions with integrity.
Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to every student who pushed their boundaries, supported their peers, and contributed to our vibrant school culture this year!
