Amazing Race Kicks Off House Season

Amazing Race Kicks Off House Season

The CFIS House Season kicked off on September 11 with the much-anticipated House Amazing Race, bringing together students from Grades 6–12 for an afternoon of teamwork, school spirit and friendly competition.

Students made their way through a series of pit stops and challenges on the journey to the finish line, filling the Middle and Senior School with energy and House pride.

More than just a competition, the Amazing Race is an important opportunity for Middle and Senior School students to connect across grade levels. Grade 6 and 7 students have the chance to meet and build relationships with students in Grades 11 and 12, helping create a stronger sense of community in shared spaces. While many school activities are divided between Grades 6–8 and Grades 9–12, the Amazing Race is a special opportunity for students across the entire Middle and Senior School to come together.

Student leadership was also central to the success of the event. Grade 11 and 12 students took the lead in organizing and running the activities, encouraging collaboration, participation and House spirit throughout the day.

A special congratulations goes to Sam E. (Grade 12), who was recognized for his outstanding work as a student leader, as well as Camden S. (Grade 11) and Kale L. (Grade 12), who were recognized as Best Dressed for showing their House pride.

It was a fantastic start to what promises to be another exciting year for the CFIS House Program.
