At CFIS, community comes alive when parents step in to support one another. The Moms’ Night Out Committee is a shining example, with five dedicated moms spending the past month planning every detail of this special evening, combining their skills, creativity, and energy to ensure it’s an event everyone can enjoy, whether it’s your first CFIS gathering or your 50th.

Each mom brought something unique: some kept everything organized, others secured generous door prizes, and others contributed icebreakers and activities to help every guest feel included. Planning meetings have been filled with laughter, creativity, and collaboration, resulting in a relaxed and fun evening for all who attend.

Creating a welcoming environment has been the committee’s top priority. Icebreakers and activities are designed to help moms connect naturally, while volunteers handle setup, table arrangements, sound, music, and the welcome table, leaving guests free to enjoy a drink, catch up with friends, or even dance.

Behind the scenes, the team has managed budgeting, selecting the venue, coordinating the menu, and planning the evening’s flow. Their work shows that volunteering at CFIS is about more than logistics, it’s about building connections, fostering joy, and creating lasting memories.
