The CFIS sense of community was on full display at our much-loved Welcome Back BBQ, where more than 1000 guests gathered across the school grounds to celebrate the start of a new school year.
Families, students and staff enjoyed an evening of great food, games and time together, creating a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new families and celebrate the vibrant community that makes CFIS so special.
Behind the scenes, dozens of volunteers helped bring the event to life by grilling, serving and creating a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the evening. Their enthusiasm and support truly reflected the heart of our CFIS community.
The evening also featured a Used Uniform Sale in the elementary gym, where donated uniform pieces were available for purchase, with proceeds supporting Senior School student committees. Families could also pick up yearbooks and learn more about volunteer opportunities within the school community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the many volunteers who helped make the evening such a memorable start to the school year!
