The school uniform is an integral part of daily life for all students at CFIS. Wearing our school’s uniform inspires school pride, creates a sense of community, enhances students' sense of belonging and reduces differentiation based on a student's outward appearance. Our uniform is one of many important ways we nurture an environment conducive to learning and personal responsibility. There are three basic uniforms worn by our students (formal, regular and summer), along with non-scuffing shoes.

There are several special days throughout the year when students are encouraged to wear something other than their uniform. For example, on vesti-choix days (French for “choice of clothes”), students wear their own school-appropriate clothing. All other days, unless noted as vesti-choix, are regular uniform days. Junior Preschool students are required to wear only a red polo shirt.
