A message from elementary Spanish

The Spanish classes have been full of excitement this month. The Grade 4 students have been working on their routines and songs that are helping them learn the days of the week, numbers from one to twenty, and the letters of the alphabet. The students are always excited to assist with the instrumentation (drums and clave), both of which are very authentically Spanish instruments.

The Grade 5 students have been working to solve a biodiversity problem relating to mining in Argentina, and as their UNESCO piece, they will be finishing their Spanish UNESCO flag for the class by the end of the month.

The Grade 6 students will start playing and sharing the traditional games they have been researching. I am very proud of everyone’s achievements!
