We're thrilled to shine the spotlight on alumnus Jared Fernyc '19. Jared has been making waves since his days at CFIS, and we're excited to catch up with him to learn about his journey post-graduation.

Currently, Jared is deeply engaged in his second year of civil engineering studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. His academic pursuits are not his only focus. Jared is a vibrant part of the student government within his residence, where he actively showcases his leadership skills and unwavering dedication to campus life.

Looking towards the future, Jared has ambitious plans. He's set his sights on specializing in structural design and materials in his undergraduate studies and is considering pursuing graduate studies in engineering. With a passion for megastructure projects and a keen interest in eco-friendly concrete production, Jared's career aspirations are as inspiring as they are impactful.

Reflecting on his time at CFIS, Jared attributes much of his success to the foundational skills and values instilled during his formative years. From cultivating a diligent work ethic to mastering the art of effective communication, CFIS provided Jared with the tools to excel in academia and beyond.

As Jared continues to forge his path, he remains deeply rooted in the CFIS community. He eagerly looks forward to catching up with fellow alumni, staying updated on school happenings and keeping a strong bond with his alma mater.
