Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is a yearly campaign that provides funds to support the school’s highest priorities in any given year. These funds help provide enrichment programs and the academic extras that tuition dollars do not cover, and allow the school to address needs as they arise. The annual fund provides an important avenue for the community to support our mission and develop a more meaningful connection with our goals and priorities.

­­The CFIS Annual Fund provides funds to support the school’s highest priorities each year. Donors can direct funds into four areas:

  1. Head’s Initiatives - 2022-23 priorities are focused on investments in student health, well-being and participation in active pursuits
  2. Mission Impact - Fine and Performing Arts, Athletics, STEM, International Opportunities and Environmental Initiatives
  3. Bridging Bursaries
  4. Round Square Travel Studies Bursaries

Become a Leadership Donor   

Did you know that maximizing your donation to the CFIS Annual Fund over the course of the school year will provide you with even more benefits? Donations of $100 each month, or $1,200 or more annually to the CFIS Annual Fund campaign, make you a leadership donor! After applying tax credits, your $1,200 donation costs only $650.   

In recognition of your support as a Leadership Donor you will receive:

  • Two complimentary tickets to the annual CFIS Musical production and Secondary Division & Alumni Pancake Breakfast.
  • Complimentary bottle of wine at the CFIS Spring Benefit (with purchase of an event ticket).
  • An invitation to speak with the CFIS student leaders from the CFIS Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee (EDI) and the Round Square International Change Leaders —  a valuable opportunity to meet and network with like-minded Leadership Donors and CFIS student change makers.
Leadership Giving Tax Benefits

Leadership Giving is a beneficial investment for you. Your donation is eligible for valuable tax credits, which can reduce the federal and provincial income tax you pay every year. Your leadership donation of $100/month only costs about $54 after taxes.

Annual Donation:  $1,200 

Alberta Tax Credit:  $230

Federal Tax Credit:  $320

Cost After Tax:  $650*

*Based on an annual taxable income of up to $221,708. 

Your donations, of meaningful and important amounts to you, are tax deductible. Through the donation form below, you may contribute a one-time gift, or monthly donation. Your gift will be gratefully received and funds allocated as requested. *Undesignated gifts are directed to Head’s Initiatives.

You can donate to the CFIS Annual Fund using the form below! One time donors will receive a tax receipt within the quarter of the year your donation arrives.
