Monster Mash Magic: 800+ Joined the Fun

The annual Monster Mash for ECE and Primary families was a spooktacular success! Over 60 parents, students, and staff volunteers came together to transform the school into a festive fall celebration filled with colour, creativity, and connection.

After four weeks of planning and preparation, our teams brought every detail to life, from glowing decorations and themed stations to the excitement of the dance floor. With over 800 tickets sold, the event was one of our most well-attended community gatherings yet.

From the moment guests arrived, the joy was contagious. Children raced to the Sensory Stations, where playful textures and surprises sparked laughter and curiosity. Nearby, the Guessing Games drew a lively crowd eager to test their candy-counting skills and claim sweet prizes.

The Concession Stand was a popular stop for families, offering an assortment of treats and snacks, especially the mystery candy bags that quickly sold out. In another corner, the Photo Booth captured smiles, costumes, and special moments for families to take home as keepsakes.

The DJ and Dance Floor set the perfect tone for the night, filling the gym with music that had everyone, toddlers to parents, moving to the beat. Glow-in-the-Dark Tattoos and the Colouring and Sticker Station added a creative touch for younger guests, while the Toddler Zone provided a cozy space for our littlest learners to join the fun safely.

Monster Mash is more than an evening of costumes and candy, it’s a reflection of the CFIS spirit. It’s about building connections, celebrating creativity, and making lasting memories together as a community.
