Last week, CFIS had the pleasure of welcoming Jean-Philippe Morasse, a gifted author and illustrator of children’s literature, who engaged students from the Early Childhood Division through Grade 3 with his dynamic presentations.
Our youngest learners were especially thrilled to hear new stories read aloud by the author himself, an experience that captured their imaginations and held their attention throughout. Kindergarten through Grade 3 students also explored how a character’s personality and emotions can be expressed through physical appearance, learning storytelling techniques that will enrich their own writing and creative projects.
Jean-Philippe’s visit was a wonderful opportunity to spark curiosity and creativity across our youngest learners. His passion and talent left a lasting impression and inspired our students to bring their stories to life in new and exciting ways!
